The Raise the Bar campaign was a taste of wacky-but-true facts and unfair provincial liquor laws. The Gabor Group delivered the package in a campaign that captured both the problem and the media and consumers’ attention. The multi-faceted campaign included a microsite telling Restaurant Canada’s story, a detailed ‘report card’ awarding grades and comparing liquor laws in each province with an engaging infographic. A digital and social media campaign targeted provincial decision makers that exposed outdated and unfair laws. This included a national news release, 10 regional releases, and op-ed articles for major dailies. Gabor created an attractive, informative campaign that had major reach, including 86 media mentions, contributing to almost 13 million total impressions.
